"We – the undersigned women from all 99 counties in Iowa – are excited to endorse a new vision for our country.
"It’s a vision that creates jobs, raises wages, protects the environment, and gets big money out of politics. It’s a vision that works for the women of Iowa.
"We endorse Bernie Sanders to become the 2016 Democratic Nominee for President of the United States of America.

OpEd Referring to Trump as a 'Fascist'

In December 2015, Stephanie Schwinn wrote an Opinion piece for a local newspaper that claimed then-candidate Donald Trump was "fascist."[8]

Excerpt:

"It would not be an understatement to call his ideology fascist. Fascism is characterized by, among other things, militant nationalism where the superiority and dominance of one ethnic group over all others entitles said group to inherent rights not granted to others, and having a charismatic leader. There is an emphasis on complete national unity enforced by the state regardless of constitutional rights and requirements. There is a belief, whether true or not, in extreme and imminent threats to national security. This belief leads to the pursuit of militaristic and aggressive foreign policy initiatives. The general population is then manipulated into this value system using the mass media."
