Daruwala was a founding member of the Child Labor Coalition.[1]

Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility

Daruwala has served as Chairperson of the Indigenous Rights Committee and the Diversity Committee at the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility.[2]

AFL-CIO

Daruwala has worked for the Food and Allied Service Trades Department of the AFL-CIO.[3]

United Food and Commercial Workers International Union

Daruwala has worked for the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union where she led advocacy campaigns to help workers gain union representation and bargaining rights.[4]

Calvert Investments

Daruwala was the Manager for Advocacy and Social Policy at Calvert Investments. Calvert is an investment company which only invests in what it refers to as "socially responsible companies".[5]

Social Investment Forum

Daruwala served on the Shareholder Advisory and Policy Committee Board of the Social Investment Forum.[6]

American Rights at Work

Since 2005 Nikki Daruwala has served as the Director of the Socially Responsible Business Program for American Rights at Work. Here she works with responsible employers who support ethical corporate labor practices and protect workers' rights. She leads The Labor Day List project.[7]

Institute for Women’s Policy Research

Daruwala serves on the Advisory Committee for the Institute for Women’s Policy Research.[8]

Green America

Daruwala serves on the board of Green America, (formerly Co-op America).[9]
