Standing for AD 2

In 2019 Lesley Ester stood from AD 2 for the California Democratic Party Central Committee.

I am committed to work towards the health and well-being of our planet through the actions and platform of the California Nurses Association and National Nurses United. This includes causes like the Main Street Contract, the Robin Hood Tax, Environmental Justice, and National Safe Staffing Ratios. I am a proud Delegate to both CNA and NNU, because I know that public health is protected by public advocacy. Locally I have served on parent teacher councils, charter school governance boards and a district school board. I am currently a CNA representative to the Humboldt-Del Norte Central Labor Council and I am also the Chief Nurse Representative and past Chair of the St Joseph Hospital Professional Practice Committee.[1]
