5th annual DC AMLA coference

The 5th Annual DC Anti-Martial Law Alliance conference was held in Washington DC in October 1978. The conference started with a dinner at the home of Manny Abitan and Cora Abitan on the 21st.

In 1985 Jon Melegrito of Coalition Against the Marcos Dictatorship/Philippine Solidarity Network and Remo de la Pena of the Filipino Senior Citizens Club were arrested at the Capitol protesting Apartheid. .
