Asian Americans for Equality celebrated their 40th Anniversary Gala, November 18, 2014, at Tribeca 360, 10 Debrosses St NYC.

Honored "Agents of Change" included Jojo Annobil;[1]

Jojo Annobil, Attorney-in-Charge of The Legal Aid Society’s City-wide Immigration Law Unit, oversees individual case representation, policy advocacy, and coordinates the Unit’s collaboration with other legal services providers, community-based organizations, pro bono attorneys and law students.
A graduate of Fordham Law School, he previously worked with the Society’s Criminal Appeals Bureau as a staff attorney. He is currently an adjunct professor at New York University Law School where he co-teaches the Immigrant Defense Clinic. He also serves as Special Counsel to the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, First Department’s disciplinary committee on immigration matters and co-chairs of the New York State Bar Association’s Committee on Immigration Representation.
