Template:TOCnestleft Jim Benn was a Reverend and the Pastor of Eden United Church of Christ in Chicago. He died on May 13, 2009 from complications of pancreatic cancer. He was married to Julia Mayer and had two children: Micah Benn and Isabel Rippard.[1]

As of Spring 1993, the National Committee for Independent Political Action Steering Committee included Jim Benn.
