The discussion will be moderated by Gabriel Acevaro, a MDC DSA member, labor organizer, and member of the Maryland House of Delegates.

Gabriel Acevaro was endorsed by Our Revolution.[1] Other Maryland endorsements included Hiruy Hadgu, Samir Paul, and Gabriel Acevaro.

Metro DC DSA-endorsed members Gabriel Acevaro and Vaughn Stewart also won their primaries on Tuesday, meaning Maryland will almost certainly have two Democratic Socialists joining the House of Delegates. Both ran unapologetically socialist campaigns, calling for universal pre-K, free public post-secondary education, public financing for elections, and single-payer healthcare in Maryland. Acevero and Stewart will bring much-needed militancy to Annapolis, where Democrats have been far too timid on progressive causes despite holding super-majorities in the legislature.[2]
