Faiz Khan

MSA connection

The Archdiocese has collaborated with and has a relationship with the Islamic Center of Long Island, 835 Brush Hollow Road, Westbury, NY. Larry Cohler Esses of the NY Daily News wrote an investigative report on March 30,2003 called, "Sowing the Seeds of Hatred". The report detailed hate being taught in local Islamic Schools. The Crescent School, 835 Brush Hollow Road, Westbury was specifically cited. It's teacher, Yahiya Emerick, is also the publisher of anti-Christian, anti-Jewish textbooks and is the head of the Islamic Foundation of North America, a Queens-based non-profit curriculum development project. The publisher was until recently, funded by a Saudi Arabian Foundation...

Yahiya Emerick has stated he would like to see a caliphate in the U.S. The leaders of the mosque are: Dr. Faroque Khan, Ghazi Khankan, Faiz Khan and Faisal Abdul Rauf. Khan is head of the NY chapter of the American Muslim Alliance, is listed on the ISNA website as Chapter Pres. of the Islamic Society of North America, consultative council for the ISNA, Majlis Ash-Shura, (wise men of the council), and a member of prgram planning committee for the ISNA 41st annual conference, (his e-mail address is listed as the contact.)He hosts fundraisers for CAIR and is himself a frequent speaker at ISNA conferences. Ghazi Khankan is director of Interfaith Relations. He is the NY chapter head of CAIR. Khankan initiated a letter writing campaign to the NY Times shortly after the 9/11 attacks which states that muslim arabs could not have been responsible. He has made a number of troubling statements...Faiz Khan started the Schenectady branch of the Muslim Student Association. This group hosts fundraisers in support of cop-killer Jamil al-Amin. Feisal Abdul Rauf, an imam at a Manhattan mosque and trustee at the Islamic Center, made a number of troubling statements such as "it was Christians who started mass attacks on civilians" and would lead us to believe that jihad was started by the West. The Archdiocese has had a relationship with this mosque dating back 10 years. They are frequently invited to guest speak at inter religious workshops throughout the Diocese. Msgr. Thom Hartmann of the "God Squad" has collaborated with the Islamic Center on the Telecare cable series, "Our Muslim Neighbors".[1]

911 "Truther"

Faiz Khan was one of 100 "prominent Americans" who signed an October 26 2004 statement circulated by 911Truth.org calling on the U.S. Government to investigate 9/11 as a possible "inside job".[2]

...we have assembled 100 notable Americans and 40 family members of those who died to sign this 9/11 Statement, which calls for immediate public attention to unanswered questions that suggest that people within the current administration may indeed have deliberately allowed 9/11 to happen, perhaps as a pretext for war.

American Society for Muslim Advancement co-founder, Faiz Khan, formed an interfaith "9/11 truth" organization that claims the 2001 attacks against America were "an inside job."[3]
