Betsy Eichel

Betsy Eichel joined the Massachusetts Voter Table as the Field Coordinator in May 2018. Previously, she was a tenant organizer at Housing Conservation Coordinators, a tenant advocacy and legal service organization in New York City. While there, she worked to build power among New York City renters, helped to form and organize tenant associations and advocated for pro-tenant policies on the city and state level. Before focusing on grassroots organizing, she was a case manager at a transitional shelter in New York and researched the causes of health disparities at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. She earned a master’s degree in social work from Columbia University in 2013 and a bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University in 2007 .[1]
