Black Radical Congress

In March 1998 “Endorsers of the Call” to found a Black Radical Congress included Efia Nwangaza, Malcolm X Grassroots Movement[1].

United for Peace and Justice Affiliation

In 2005 Efia Nwangaza, Not in Our Name was on the Steering Committee of United for Peace and Justice[2].

In July 2007 Efia Nwangaza representing Not in Our Name / Afrikan-American Institute for Policy Studies (SC) was affiliated to United for Peace and Justice.[3]

March on Wall Street

On April 3 2008 Efia Nwangaza, founder/director of Malcolm X Center for Self-Determination, Greenville, SC endorsed a Bail Out the People Movement organized "March on Wall Street" ;

Because we must demand that the needs of the people come before the greed of the super rich. Millions are jobless and homeless, and millions more will be living on the streets if the government continues to waste trillions of dollars on saving wealthy bankers instead of saving people.[4]

"Support Bill Ayers"

In October 2008, several thousand college professors, students and academic staff signed a statement Support Bill Ayers in solidarity with former Weather Underground Organization terrorist Bill Ayers.

In the run up to the U.S. presidential elections, Ayers had come under considerable media scrutiny, sparked by his relationship to presidential candidate Barack Obama.

Efia Nwangaza of the Afrikan American Institute for Policy Studies & Planning signed the statement[5].

Pacifica Radio

Nwangaza is an affiliate member of the Pacifica Radio Board of Directors as a representative of WMXP.[6]
