American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) is an AFL-CIO union of 600,000 federal and D.C. government workers in the United States and overseas. The agencies with the highest number of members in the AFGE include the Department of Defense, the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Social Security Administration and the Department of Justice.[1]
