Veterans for Peace is affiliated with the United for Peace and Justice.[1]
United for Peace & Justice
Veterans for Peace is a member group of United for Peace & Justice, a coalition claiming membership of over 1,400 local and national groups throughout the United States who,
- "have joined together to protest the immoral and disastrous Iraq War and oppose our government's policy of permanent warfare and empire-building."[2]

- LeRoy Wolins - longtime identified member of the CPUSA, a leader of the CPUSA front, Veterans for Peace (VfP), which was a part of the various Mobes in the Hanoi Lobby, as well as PCPJ. According to one book by Andrew E. Hunt, VfP was formed on January 28, 1966 in Chicago by a bunch of veterans, mainly from WW2 (the key ones being members of the CPUSA)[7].
- Howard Zinn - an avowed marxist and inveterant supporter of fronts and causes of the CPUSA, the Trotskyite Socialist Workers Party (SWP), and the Trotskyite-turned-Stalinist Workers World Party (WWP). He was found out to be, at one time, a covert member of the CPUSA when his FBI records were released under a FOIA request in the late 2000's.

Solidarity with Sept. 24 FBI Raid Activists
The Committee to Stop FBI Repression lists Veterans for Peace and Veterans for Peace Minnesota Chapter 27 as organizations that have issued a statement of solidarity in support of the activists raided in the September 24, 2010 FBI Raids.[9]
