The Hunting of the President: The Ten-Year Campaign to Destroy Bill and Hillary Clinton was written by Joe Conason and Gene Lyons. The 448-page book was published by St. Martin's Griffin on February 3, 2001.
Conason was a editor-at-large at The New York Observer and Lyons was a columnist for The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
A 90-minute documentary was filmed in 2004 based on the book. The documentary was narrated by Morgan Freeman.[1]
Reaction
The book was called "a journalistic brief in support of Hillary Clinton's assertion" that there is a right-wing conspiracy against her and Bill Clinton.[2]
