Campaign for America's Future
In 1996 Peter Laarman, Judson Memorial Church was one of the original 130 founders of Campaign for America's Future.[1]

Communist "Manifestivity"
On October 30 and 31, 1998 the Brecht Forum presented the "Communist Manifestivity to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Communist Manifesto" at Cooper Union's Great Hall, New York.

In August 2004 Peter Laarman executive director of Progressive Christians Uniting, LA endorsed an anti “Bush Team” Protest at the Republican National Convention in New York, organized by Not In Our Name, an organization closely associated with the Revolutionary Communist Party[5].

In 2009 The Reverend Peter Laarman, Executive Director, Progressive Christians Uniting, Los Angeles, CA served on the board of directors of Healthcare-Now! .[6]
