People for the American Way

People for the American Way (PFAW) is a progressive organization founded in 1981 by Norman Lear, the late Congresswoman Barbara Jordan and a group of activists.

Michael B. Keegan is the current President. The organization's foundation arm is the People for the American Way Foundation and its youth arm is the Young People For.[1]
