Linda Wiener is a recovering attorney and full-time, rogue peace and justice activist living in the Portland, Oregon area. She has organized and engaged in civil resistance to the wars as a member of Civil Resist Portland and The Surge Protection Brigade (aka the Seriously Pissed-Off Grannies or SPOGS), that she co-founded. She sat on the Board of Directors of The Backbone Campaign for two years, during which time she worked on the Cabinet Summit. Recently, she has joined the efforts of US Uncut in Portland and is a proud associate member of Veterans for Peace. [1]
