Jan Reid is the co-author of The Hammer: Tom Delay, God, Money, and the Rise of the Republican Congress, along with Lou DuBose.[1] The book's publisher was Peter Osnos and its editors were Lisa Kaufman and David Patterson. This book has been listed among the best in socialist literature and was published by Public Affairs, the same publication under which George Soros has been published.[2][3]
He is a senior writer at Texas Monthly and has contributed to Esquire, GQ, Slate, Men's Journal, Men's Health, and the New York Times.
He is married to Dorothy Brown, whom he mentioned in the The Hammer's acknowledgments.
