FairShare International
From KeyWiki
FairShare International is an organization that advocates for the redistribution of international wealth. It explicitly states that it does not donate to charities, but that it works to redistribute wealth. One of its talking points is the "5.10.5.10" plan, which asks people to live by redistributing 5% of one's personal wealth, by reducing use of water, energy and minerals by at least 10%, by contributing at least 5% of leisure time annually to directly assist people, and take "significant democratic action at least ten times a year to correct practices associated with greed and injustice that hurt people and the environment."[1]
FairShare was organized and founded by Pam DiLorenzo in Adelaide South Australia in mid 2001. It was officially launched on March 8, 2002 by Robyn Williams.[2]
