Democracy for America was formed in March of 2004.[1]

The DFA endorses candidates at all levels of office from School Board to the Presidency. The organization will only support candidates who will "move the progressive movement forward in their community".[2]
Progressive Democrats for Delaware
In Spring, 2004, Democracy for America together with the Democratic Party of Delaware founded Progressive Democrats for Delaware, and is a "grassroots, volunteer organization".[3]
