Roland Kotani

Roland M. Kotani, born 1954, was a Democratic member of the Hawaii State House of Representatives who represented the Pearl City-Pacific Palisades area. He was killed by his estranged wife Grace Kotani on 28 July 1989.

Kotani graduated from Yale University and authored the book "The Japanese in Hawaii: A Century of Struggle" in 1985. [1]

The names of Neil Abercrombie, his wife Nancie Caraway, and that of Hawaiian state politician Roland Kotani, appeared on an early 1980s Honolulu Democratic Socialists of America membership list.
