National Coalition to Fight Inflation and Unemployment

April 16, 1975, Anne Braden, Chairperson, N.Y. Metropolitan Council on Housing, was on the Current List of Sponsors of the Communist Party USA front National Coalition to Fight Inflation and Unemployment.[1]

U.S. Peace Council sponsor

In 1979 Jane Benedict, Chairperson, N.Y. Metropolitan Council on Housing, was listed as a founding sponsor of the Communist Party USA front, the U.S. Peace Council.[2]

We Will Make Peace Prevail!

On March 28, 1982 the New World Review organized a gala luncheon "We Will Make Peace Prevail! Disarmament Over Confrontation, Life Over Death", at the Grand Ballroom, Hotel Roosevelt, New York City. Virtually all participants were identified as Communist Party USA.

Jane Benedict was listed on the Committee of Sponsors.[3]
